Can we use emojis?

Of course! Nothing describes a hefty screw up like a pile of 💩.

When to edit incidents?

The "Edit" option is mainly there to fix typos and/or fix any incorrect information that may have slipped in during the initial report. Editing does not send out notifications, so for any status updates you should "Update" the incident instead.

Picking the right brand image

As you would expect, you can choose to display an image in the navigation bar of your status page. Whatever you upload will be scaled to 50px in height, so if you want to have it work with @2x displays, make sure it's at least 100px tall.

You'll also need to stay below 300KB.

How to configure a custom domain

On your side, simply point your chosen domain (basically CNAME it) to central.exana.io. On our side, you'll need to use the Custom Domain configuration modal to tip us off that we should handle requests for your.chosen.domain.
